Surya Namashkar has incredible benefits.
When done in conjunction with Shirshasana, Halasana and others over time, the benefits can be mind-boggling.

It is indeed true that Surya Namaskar gives all beneficial effects which are more pronounced if you are new to the yoga. However most of the people leave comment here saying its good after practicisng it for few days or weeks. As any other benefit in this world, nothing comes cheap or easy. onc should pursue this at a ixed time (preferably in early morning or during sun set) to have long term benefit.
i do surya namaskar 12 rounds per days it is very useful body and mind,i affected tension and sadness,its now easily removed from my body and mind now i am looking very young and energitic man. thanks for suryanamaskar

Can one do suyanamakar without any guide or guru?
I do 12 suyanamaskars daily after I suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure and cholestororol. Now the ailments are normalised. I also do 40 yogasanas with surya namaskars. I feel very easy. Still I am in doubt whether I can do sirsana or not. My age is 52 years. If anybody knows that please advice.
I started with 10 and I have reached to 43. It is a very good excercise and I find freshness. I don't feel any need of stimulants like tea, coffee etc. With practice it becomes very easy to do and if one does regulary for min. 10 dasy then one will fall in love with it!
I started doing five and now am doing almost 30 every day. It really rejuvenates the body and it helps my mind stay fresh all day.

surya namaskar is the best exercise. u just have to take out 15 minutes daily from ur busy life in morning. it also encourages me to wake up early. now i see my patients with more zeal and dedication.
